TCI’s TruDurance Certified Applicator Program

Image
TCI’s TruDurance Certified Applicator Program is one of the most extensive and comprehensive auditing programs in the powder coating industry. Our field technicians are trained to evaluate all aspects of a powder coating operation to determine whether the customer can meet AAMA 2604 and/or 2605 requirements. During the audit, we run a variety of tests to assess how our powders perform in the process. Furthermore, we conduct annual audits to ensure the process parameters have not changed without notification and provide AAMA recertifications every two years. A TCI TruDurance certification represents quality in your application process and consistent results. It utilizes TCI's industry leading AAMA 2604 and 2605 powder formulations. This program is a way to celebrate your efforts, stand apart from other coaters, and give customers confidence in your process. Aside from a framed certification, banners and plaques are also available upon completion for you to proudly showcase this achi

Benefits of Fast Cure Products

Image
TCI's formulation lab uses innovative technology to enhance the economic and environmental benefits of our offerings. One way we do that is by offering fast cure technology. The benefits of these cures include:  1) Energy Savings: Increased line speeds = reduced manufacturing hours 2) Maximized Output Profit: By coating more parts in the same amount of time, the manufacturing costs  is lowered improving the profit margin per part 3) Eliminate bottlenecks associated with cure time/temperature restraints of the power application/cure process 4) Reduced carbon footprint in combination with reduced operating hours The faster you can cure, the less you need to run the cure oven, and the greener your powder coating process will be.  Discover our stock Fast Cure (FC) product offerings on our color card here:  https://tcipowder.com/products/color-cards/stock-color-card/

Fabtech 2019

Fabtech is always an exciting and electrifying show, and this year in Chicago was no different. The event attendees totaled over 48,000 from 95 different countries. TCI utilized the same booth we did last year, a 20’ x 20’ space with graphics highlighting our values: innovation, service and performance, and also our 7 core markets. This year we brought TCI product literature such as stock color cards, case studies and RAL Decks. We also used this opportunity to launch our new high-performance FenceCoat Gen II platform and highlighted it with various fence parts coated in popular architectural colors. Other powder coated parts we displayed included domes and speed shapes. The bright colors and variety of textures on these pieces brought much attention and people were intrigued by all the options that powder coatings can offer. Our favorite part of the show was getting the opportunity to chat with attendees and the other exhibitors involved in the Finishing Market. I
